Casanova’s
My other stop in Puerto Vallarta was Casanova’s, a short distance away from Antropology in the older section of town. This club advertises male strippers and delivers to both men and women in a corner bar consisting of one large room. All service is at your table, no bar. The stage is one corner of the room and the boys come out one by one to strip to thongs and then circulate for tips.
The strippers were handsome and very nicely built, more naturally endowed than gym-built. There was some very nice eye-candy that could rival the best that US or Canada has to offer. But the venue was stripping to thongs only and no apparent place to do privates with the dancers for more attention.
The crowd was pleasant and received the dancers well with applause and respect. The guys seemed very proud of their routines and really did try to entertain the crowd with tease and skin. The drinks were fairly priced and tips were appreciated.
The two servers were cute as can be and I would have like to see them up on the stage. In all, I would recommend this place as a stopover while in PV. It is less hustle, more relaxed and definitely worth the little money you will probably spend there. (I didn’t ask about after-hours engagement, but I can dream.)
